A hospital and healthcare solutions company is filling a position for a Remote Behavior Health Physician Coder in Plano.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assigning appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes in accordance with current, official guidelines
- Maintaining and utilizing a variety of health record indexes and storage retrieval systems
- Operating computer to process, store and retrieve health information
Qualifications for this position include:
- Credentialed in coding
- AAPC standards in productivity and quality
- Experience coding multiple/various coding and abstracting applications
- Ability to provide schedule of planned work activities, events and sites, and any changes to management and appropriate staff
- Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
