Job Summary
A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Behavioral Health Advocate in Buffalo.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing initial inpatient admission for psychiatric and chemical dependency patients
- Making patient assessments and determine appropriate levels of care
- Obtaining information from providers on outpatient requests for treatment
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling
- Current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of residence
- 2+ years of experience in behavioral health
- Inpatient experience
- Dual diagnosis experience with mental health and substance abuse
