Job Summary
A health insurance company is seeking a Remote Behavioral Health Care Manager I.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing psychiatric & substance use disorder facility-based & outpatient professional treatment health benefits
- Using appropriate screening criteria knowledge & clinical judgment to assess member needs
- Referring cases to Peer Reviewers as appropriate
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Requires a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a degree in nursing
- Requires 3 years of clinical experience providing treatment to individuals with complex psychiatric & or substance use disorder
- OR any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
- Requires Current active unrestricted license to practice as an RN LCSW LPC LMFT or Clinical Psychologist
