Job Summary
A health insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Behavioral Health Care Manager I.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Using appropriate screening criteria knowledge and clinical judgment to assess member needs
- Performing psychiatric & substance abuse or substance abuse disorder assessment coordination implementation case planning
- Referring cases to Peer Reviewers as appropriate
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Current active unrestricted license as LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, or RN to practice as health professional within scope of licensure
- Requires MS/MA in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field or a degree in nursing
- 3 yrs clinical experience in social work counseling with range of experience with complex psychiatric & substance abuse treatment
- OR any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
