Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Behavioral Health Care Manager I in Omaha.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Ensuring our members are directed to the appropriate level of care
- Assessing member needs to ensure access to medically necessary quality behavioral healthcare
- Promoting effective use of health benefits and community resources
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Day travel visiting members in homes, provider facilities, etc, approximately 25% of the time
- MS or MA in social work counseling or a related behavioral health field or a degree in nursing
- 3 years of experience with facility-based and/or outpatient psychiatric or substance abuse disorder treatment
- Current active unrestricted license as an RN, LMHP, or independent LCSW
- Previous experience in case management/utilization management
