Job Summary
A health insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Behavioral Health Care Manager I inTyler.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Using appropriate screening criteria knowledge and clinical judgment
- Referring cases to Peer Reviewers as appropriate
- Performing psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder assessment coordination
Position Requirements Include:
- Behavioral Health background required (inpatient or outpatient)
- UM experience
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills
- MS or MA in social work counseling or a related behavioral health field
- Current active unrestricted license
- Previous experience in case management/utilization management
