Job Summary
A health insurance company has a current position open for a Remote Behavioral Health Care Manager II.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assessing member needs
- Ensuring access to medically necessary quality behavioral healthcare
- Referring cases to Peer Reviewers as appropriate
Skills and Requirements Include:
- MA/MS in social work counseling or a related behavioral health field or a degree in nursing
- And 3 years of experience with psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder treatment
- Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
- Current, active, unrestricted license: RN, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LBA, LMFT or Clinical Psychologist
- Previous experience in case management/utilization management
