Job Summary

A health insurance company has a current position open for a Remote Behavioral Health Care Manager II.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Assessing member needs
  • Ensuring access to medically necessary quality behavioral healthcare
  • Referring cases to Peer Reviewers as appropriate

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • MA/MS in social work counseling or a related behavioral health field or a degree in nursing
  • And 3 years of experience with psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder treatment
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
  • Current, active, unrestricted license: RN, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LBA, LMFT or Clinical Psychologist
  • Previous experience in case management/utilization management
