Job Summary
A health insurance company is seeking a Remote Behavioral Health EAP Consultant .
Must be able to:
- Provide telephone and or on-site support for crisis intervention, assessment, short term problem resolution and referral to appropriate provider(
- Support Employee Assistance Program (EAP) service department by responding to initial customer contacts and request for services
- Manages Critical Incident Stress Debriefing requests. Assesses members and assists them in accessing behavioral healthcare benefits available under their health plan
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- B.S. degree in behavioral health or human services field
- 3-5 years of behavioral health and/or substance abuse experience
- Current unrestricted license such as (but not limited to) LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or LMHC
- Excellent communication skills
- Great interpersonal skills
