Job Summary
A recruiting firm is filling a position for a Remote Behavioral Health Psychiatrist Medical Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Leading and coordinating the management, quality improvement and credentialing functions for this health plan
- Overseeing the activities of physician advisors
- Performing medical review activities for utilization review
Position Requirements Include:
- Board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Current state medical license without restrictions
- 5-10 years of experience working in behavioral health managed care or behavioral health clinical setting
- Minimum 2 years in a clinical setting
- Certification in addiction medicine
- All other requirement necessary for this position
