Job Summary

A behavioral healthcare provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Behavioral Healthcare Utilization Review Coordinator.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing admission, continued stay, and discharge reviews on all managed care clients
  • Maintaining positive relationships with referral sources and insurance companies
  • Tracking admissions, continued stay, and discharge PCPC requirements for county referrals

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent
  • 5 years’ experience in Utilization Review or related position in a healthcare setting
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer skills and the internet
  • Microsoft Office experience, including Excel and Word skills
  • Able to perform admission, continued stay, and discharge reviews
