Remote Behavioral Intake Counselor

Job Summary

A major healthcare company is seeking a Remote Behavioral Intake Counselor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Answering calls/chats within standard service levels
• Providing customized, behavioral health referrals
• Conducting crisis work and ensuring safety

Required Skills:

• Master's Degree (license not required) or Doctorate within human services such as psychology, sociology
• 3+ years work experience with a license in social work
• 2+ years post graduate degree experience providing direct clinical services
• 2+ years of experience working with diverse multi-ethnic/socioeconomic populations
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Access to a designated quiet workspace in your home (separated from non-workspace areas) with the ability to secure Protected Health Information (PHI)
