Job Summary

A health insurance technology and services company is seeking a Remote Benefit Advocate.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Responding to, researching, and resolving member inquiries
  • Answering questions regarding their medical benefits
  • Acting as the Subject Matter Expert

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of CPT codes, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
  • Previous claims experience and/or medical billing experience
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft operating system and their suite of applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Fast-paced call center/customer support experience
  • Strong computer skills with ability to learn multiple proprietary computer systems
