Job Summary
A health insurance technology and services company is seeking a Remote Benefit Advocate.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Responding to, researching, and resolving member inquiries
- Answering questions regarding their medical benefits
- Acting as the Subject Matter Expert
Skills and Requirements Include:
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of CPT codes, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
- Previous claims experience and/or medical billing experience
- Familiarity with the Microsoft operating system and their suite of applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Fast-paced call center/customer support experience
- Strong computer skills with ability to learn multiple proprietary computer systems
