Job Summary

A public benefit corporation has a current position open for a Remote Benefits Administrator.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Administering the full-cycle leave of absence process for all benefit leave programs
  • Working with the management team and HR Business Partners
  • Monitoring benefit premium payments for employees on unpaid leave for premium collection activities and correspondence

Position Requirements Include:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Benefits and leave Administration, multi-state
  • Understanding of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, Internal Revenue Service Section 125 and cafeteria plan regulations
  • Passionate about progressive human resource practices
  • Comfortable tackling ambiguous problems with a high level of autonomy
  • A collaborative team player with a roll-up your sleeves mentality
  • A strong writer and ability to verbally communicate effectively
