Job Summary
To support a growing call center, the full-time Remote Benefits Customer Service Representative will manage customer inquiries with compassion and professionalism, ensuring accurate responses to health and welfare plan questions while working remotely after an initial onsite meeting.
Key responsibilities
- Build rapport and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and instant message in a timely manner
- Translate complex health and welfare plan information into simple, understandable terms for customers
- Handle confidential information with discretion in compliance with HIPAA and data security requirements
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in customer service or call center preferred
- English-speaking candidates required; bilingual in Spanish or French is a plus
