Job Summary
To support customer needs, the part-time Remote Benefits Customer Service Representative will provide compassionate and accurate responses to inquiries while working remotely after an initial onsite training day in Richardson, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Build rapport with customers and respond to inquiries via phone, email, and instant message in a timely and respectful manner
- Translate complex health and welfare plan information into understandable terms for customers while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA
- Customize service approaches to meet diverse customer communication styles and anticipate future member needs
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in customer service or call center environments preferred
- Fluency in English; bilingual candidates in Spanish or French are encouraged to apply
