A fintech marketplace bank needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Big Data Architect.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Architecting Big Data tech stack to support modern data warehousing in AWS
  • Modernizing existing Hadoop stack to provide near-real time transformations and data distribution
  • Providing ideas and opinions on big data serialization formats like ORC, Parquet, Avro

Required Skills:

  • Know different ingestion patterns and ETL processing mechanisms
  • Great teammate with a dedication to grow others around you through technical curiosity and collaboration
  • A real passion for designing and leading the implementation of resilient, distributed software platforms
  • A desire to learn about, evaluate and appropriately drive team adoption of new technologies and methodologies
  • Python experience
  • Experience and knowledge of Software Design patterns and their applications to Data Warehouse development
