Job Summary
A technology recruiting and staffing firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Big Data Engineer in Newton.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting developers in debugging SQL related data issues
- Querying databases and tune query performance
- Performing data analysis, data mining, and data investigations with advanced query techniques
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in logical and physical data modeling,Jupyter Notebook, and with Azure and/or AWS
- 7+ years experience in the design, development, and deployment of highly scale-able applications
- 7+ years in Python development and preferably current working experience in a Linux/Unix environment
- Solid understanding of data warehousing and application data integration solutions in large enterprises
