Job Summary

An IT consulting firm is filling a position for a Remote Big Data Migration Consultant.

Must be able to:

  • Identify migration approaches, migration plans, tools, timeline and execution
  • Create a Big Data solution architecture
  • Work with writers/engineers to document the System Architecture, as it would be implemented on-premises

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Multiple years experience (3 plus) working with Big Data solutions (MapR, HortonWorks, etc.)
  • Multiple years (3 plus) working with public cloud data services
  • Experience evaluating, planning, and implementing a database solution in a production-level environment
  • Experience with Azure Cloud, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud
