Job Summary
An academic publishing company has a current position open for a Remote Big Data Senior Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Build scalable, efficient, and high-performance workflows
- Build out our data service architecture
- Perform unit testing, design/code reviews, etc
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 10+ years’ experience in designing and developing enterprise level software solutions
- Strong experience with SQL and Relational databases
- Experience working with the Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience with large volume data processing and big data tools
- Experience with Amazon cloud computing infrastructure
- Knowledge in stream processing technologies
