Job Summary
A retail company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Big Data Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Collaborating through frequent pair programming
- Performing regular retrospectives
- Performing Test Driven Development
Position Requirements Include:
- Strong knowledge of building development practices like CI/CD, Test Automation, etc
- Knowledge of build management tools such as Jenkins or Maven
- Demonstrated understanding of source control systems such as GIT
- Database Design experience including either SQL, PL/SQL
- Implementing ETL process with Big Data Technologies: Spark, Python, Scala and Airflow
- Experience in designing and creating automation workflows and execution
