Remote BigCommerce Developer
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Remote BigCommerce Developer, this full-time position will focus on building, customizing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performing eCommerce websites on the BigCommerce platform, utilizing technologies such as Stencil, Storefront APIs, and GraphQL.
Key responsibilities
- Building custom BigCommerce widgets and reusable front-end components to enhance site functionality and user experience
- Developing interactive features using BigCommerce's Storefront GraphQL API and creating custom themes with the Stencil framework
- Optimizing websites for performance, SEO, and conversion rates while managing multiple projects and deadlines
Required qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in BigCommerce website development
- Strong knowledge and expertise in the BigCommerce platform, including Stencil framework and Storefront APIs
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and ECMAScript 5/6
- Experience creating custom widgets and front-end components within BigCommerce
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during Pacific Time hours
