Job Summary
An online educational provider is in need of a Remote Bilingual American Sign Language Teacher.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Conducting classes in the language of instruction
- Creating and maintaining a positive and academically focused learning environment
- Developing and implementing the Components of an Effective Lesson for instruction
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Must possess a teaching license issued by a state department of education
- Must hold the appropriate foreign language endorsement, which matches the assignment
- Demonstrate foreign language proficiency at the Advanced-Low level based on the proficiency scale created by ACTFL
- Demonstrate knowledge, skill, and ability to provide instruction in a secondary virtual classroom
- All other requirements necessary for this position
