Job Summary

A provider of remote translation services is in need of a Remote Bilingual Amharic and Tigrinya Video Medical Interpreter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide effective video and audio remote interpreting service for consumers
• Complete video, audio and platform training
• Participate in ongoing quality assurance and call monitoring programs

Qualifications Include:

• Strong verbal communication skills in both the source and target language
• Must have at least 2-5 years of community/medical interpreting experience
• Certifications such as those endorsed by NCHI and NBCMI
• Credentialed in medical interpreting
• Extensive knowledge of code of ethics and standards of practice
• Familiarity with the medical profession and its privacy laws
