Job Summary
An educational materials company is filling a position for a Remote Bilingual Associate Editor.
Must be able to:
- Assist in edits, copyedits, and proofreads content for textbooks to print, ancillaries, and digital components
- Review manuscript and proofs according to editorial checklist and style guides
- Write contracts for vendors and freelancers participating in projects
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, World Languages, or Journalism
- Editorial experience
- Minimum of intermediate-high language proficiency in English and Spanish, French, German, or Italian
- Strong written and oral interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy, innovative and forward-thinking is a must
- Excels with problem-solving and multitasking skills
