Job Summary
A provider of remote translation services is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Bilingual Brazilian and European Portuguese Video Interpreter.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing effective video and audio remote interpreting services
- Completing video, audio and platform training
- Participating in ongoing quality assurance and call monitoring programs
Qualifications for this position include:
- Fluent and have strong verbal communication skills in the source and target language
- Must have at least 2-5 years of community/medical interpreting experience
- Credentialed in medical interpreting
- Extensive knowledge of code of ethics and standards of practice
- Familiarity with the medical profession and its privacy laws (HIPAA)
- Demonstrate the ability to work as a team even in a video remote environment
