Job Summary
A distribution services and technology solutions service provider has an open position for a Remote Bilingual Chinese Japanese Korean Bahasa Malay or Indonesia Professional Translator in Los Angeles.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Translating subtitle files using a template and cloud based subtitling software
- Following technical/style guide for multiple client content types
- Utilizing glossary tool for consistency across product as well as follow client style guide
Qualifications for this position include:
- Film/Broadcast translation and/or proofreading experience
- Native English speaker or full bilingual proficiency
- Excellent reading skills, spelling/vocabulary and grammar
- Must have own computer with good internet connection
- Fluent in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Bahasa Malay, or Bahasa Indonesia
