Job Summary
A data transcription and annotation company has a current position open for a Remote Bilingual German into Italian Machine Translation Post Editor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Ensure target text correctly reflects the meaning of the source
- Understand post-editing guidelines and ensure quality standards meet client expectations
- Provide corrections and text optimization based on the MT output
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Language Combination: German into Italian
- Excellent command of the Italian language in both comprehension and writing
- Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience
- Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) experience required
- IT skills with knowledge and experience of CAT tools
- Excellent understanding of Machine Translation Post-Editing processes and tools
