Job Summary

A data transcription and annotation company has a current position open for a Remote Bilingual German into Italian Machine Translation Post Editor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Ensure target text correctly reflects the meaning of the source
• Understand post-editing guidelines and ensure quality standards meet client expectations
• Provide corrections and text optimization based on the MT output

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Language Combination: German into Italian
• Excellent command of the Italian language in both comprehension and writing
• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience
• Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) experience required
• IT skills with knowledge and experience of CAT tools
• Excellent understanding of Machine Translation Post-Editing processes and tools
