Job Summary
An outsourcing services provider is filling a position for a Remote Bilingual Japanese to English Linguist Translator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting translation and revision work following provided guidelines and instructions
- Providing linguistic feedback for work carried out externally
- Creating characterisation documents, glossaries, and style guides following pre-defined guidelines from the client
Position Requirements Include:
- Must be a native Japanese speaker with a strong understanding of Japanese culture
- Must be fluent in English, with a strong understanding of language
- Must be strong in grammar and punctuation
- Must have Game Localization/Translation experience
- Experience within the translation industry or working professionally as a Translator (2 years minimum)
