Job Summary
A provider of remote translation services is filling a position for a Remote Bilingual Marshallese Audio Medical Interpreter.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide effective audio, remote interpreting service for customers
- Participate in ongoing quality assurance and call monitoring programs
- Adhere to interpreter ethical standards and procedural requirements
Qualifications for this position include:
- Successful completion of a language assessment
- Fluent and possess strong verbal communication skills in both the source and target language
- 2 years of audio medical interpreting experience
- Must have a strong aptitude in customer service and medical interpreting
- Extensive knowledge of code of ethics and standards of practice (IMIA, NBCMI and NCIHC)
- Advanced medical terminology knowledge
