Job Summary

A language services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Bilingual Nepali Video Interpreter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Providing effective video remote interpreting service for consumers
• Participating in ongoing quality assurance and call monitoring programs
• Exhibiting professional behavior at all times

Qualifications Include:

• At least 2-5 years of community/medical interpreting experience
• Strong verbal communication skills in both the source and target language
• Certifications such as those endorsed by NCHI and NBCMI: CCHI or CMI
• Extensive knowledge of code of ethics and standards of practice (IMIA, NBCMI, and NCIHC)
• Familiarity with the medical profession and its privacy laws (HIPAA)
• Credentialed in medical interpreting
