Job Summary
A nonprofit environmental activism organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Bilingual Russian Climate Data Researcher.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting background research to support project objectives
- Translation of original source materials
- Creating, formatting, and updating wiki pages for energy projects on the GEM.wiki platform
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- One to three years of experience in energy/environmental research and analysis
- Native speaker/full command of English and Russian
- Strong research skills, including attention to detail, and scrupulous adherence to documented fact
- Professional-level writing skills
- Demonstrated experience in working with databases and/or large datasets
- Basic knowledge of environmental and social impacts of fossil energy production
