A rights organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Bilingual Somali Translator I.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing final copies of the translated scripts
- Reproducing up to eight video scripts in Somali
- Providing recitations and recordings of those scripts in Somali
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Excellent communication skill in English and Somali
- 3-5 years of professional translation experience in the relevant areas
- Proven skills in translation and interpretation from English into Somali
- Demonstrated understanding of technical terms used in areas of development broadly, governance, law and human rights, politics
