An organization of domestic workers is seeking a Remote Bilingual Spanish Domestic Workers News Writer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Pitching, researching, writing, and editing original news articles
- Ensuring all citations are complete, thorough, and factually accurate
- Writing articles in Latin-American style Spanish prose free of grammar and spelling errors
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English with experience writing for publication in Spanish
- Journalism experience in digital media environment
- Understanding of issues facing low-wage workers and immigrant communities
- Availability to communicate with our staff as needed via email and Slack
- Demonstrated a commitment to social justice and progressive social change
