Job Summary
A faith-based healthcare organization is in need of a Remote Bilingual Spanish Healthcare Consumer Access Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Maintaining a working relationship with clinical partners
- Contacting insurance companies to obtain and verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Creating accurate estimates to maximize up-front cash collections
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bilingual – English/Spanish
- High School diploma or GED
- Understanding of HIPAA privacy rules
- Ability to use discretion when discussing patient related information
- Knowledge of computer programs and electronic health record programs
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and exposure to insurance benefits
