A nonprofit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Bilingual Spanish Parkinsons Disease Information Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Responding to requests and inquiries from persons with Parkinson’s disease
- Delivering support to those in emotional distress
- Speaking to callers in a respectful and courteous way
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in a health care or human services field
- Ability to quickly acquire a good understanding of Parkinson’s disease
- Capable of working with clients who are both newly diagnosed and severely disabled
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments of caller needs and concerns
- Strong computer skills, proficient with MS Office suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard personal information received from callers
