Job Summary

An association has an open position for a Remote Bilingual Spanish Social Media Strategist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Creating social media toolkits to help other organizations and individuals amplify our messages
• Responding to and engaging with supporters and workers on social media, answering questions and providing information
• Organizing Twitter chats, Thunderclaps, and other online moments or days of action

Required Skills:

• A native or fluent Spanish speaker who can write in both languages as well as translate text from Spanish to English and English to Spanish
• A sharp writer, primarily for social media content that engages workers and activists
• Skilled at writing for a range of digital mediums
• Able to think like a marketer about what will grab our audiences and bring them in
• Must have experience managing social media and/or doing online marketing for a nonprofit, campaign, or company
