Job Summary
A language services company has an open position for a Remote Bilingual Tigrinya Telephone Video Interpreter.
Must be able to:
- Conduct intake and pre-session scripting for each client
- Answer all client calls in a professional manner, relaying first name and interpreter ID for every call
- Always use polite forms of expression, enunciate clearly, and always strive to provide great customer service
Position Requirements Include:
- Full fluency in English in addition to your mother tongue
- 2+ years of professional telephone interpreting experience
- Very good ability to remain neutral and objective during calls
- Very good cultural understanding and ability to clearly explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication
- Excellent accuracy - listening, memory retention
- Very good medical terminology knowledge and ability to reference medical glossaries during active calls
