Job Summary

A non-profit global development network is filling a position for a Remote Bilingual Turkish Editor National Consultant.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting editing of the Turkish and English language content
• Undertaking the editing of translated texts
• Making editorial suggestions for printed and designed materials

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Master’s in English language and literature, journalism, public relations, communications, or relevant fields
• Or a first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience
• Minimum 7 years of experience as an editor, writer, with outstanding writing skills is a requirement
• 2 years of experience in editing Turkish-English & English-Turkish translated texts
• 2 years of experience in editing materials for human rights-related international organizations
• Proven record of editing reports and research in English and Turkish
