Remote Biller Collector

Job Summary

Collecting receivables and monitoring past due accounts, the full-time Remote Biller Collector will research and resolve insurance claim discrepancies while preparing billing statements and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Review patient account files for accuracy and completeness, ensuring proper billing to insurance companies and patients
• Prepare and maintain billing activity reports and respond to inquiries from patients and insurance companies
• Investigate delinquency cases, contact third-party payers, and recommend appropriate actions for problem delinquencies

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2+ years of hospital medical billing experience
• Knowledge of Medicare, State Programs, and commercial billing
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
