Job Summary
A global software development company has an open position for a Remote Billing and Payments Engineering Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Lead an engineering team of around 20 engineers and managers
- Provide both technical leadership and mentorship — holding a high-performance bar for the team
- Partner with HR and recruiting teams to attract and recruit experienced, and diverse talent
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to acquire, develop, grow and retain accomplished diverse software engineers of all experience levels
- Deep technical experience with, and an excellent track record using web technologies such as React, JavaScript and SQLServr at scale
- Passionate about your profession
- Ownership, customer service, integrity demonstrated through uptime, responsiveness and positive action
- Around 15 years of experience leading successful teams focused on building and operationalizing scalable products
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
