Remote Billing Follow-up Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PFS Representative for Billing Follow-up Denials in Imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payments, adjustments, claims, and denials accurately and in a timely manner
• Research and reconcile account balances and payments, addressing discrepancies and making appeals as necessary
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and internal clients, resolving billing and payment issues through effective communication

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• 1 year of experience in patient financial services or medical claims
• Knowledge of submitting appeals and understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
• General knowledge of codes used for claim processing
• Proficiency in common office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
