Job Summary

A healthcare information company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Billing Hospice Specialist III in Pittsburgh.

Must be able to:

• Verify insurance coverage as needed to substantiate claim submission
• Review payments for accuracy and apply those payments against the pertinent account
• Ensure receipt by all applicable insurers and review unpaid claims within billing cycle timeframes

Required Skills:

• High School diploma or general education degree
• 3+ years of experience in one or more aspects of the medical revenue cycle management
• 2+ years of account level customer service
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail per claim investigation, denials, appeals and collections
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines for all applicable players
