Remote Billing Lead Specialist

Job Summary

Leading the accounts receivable operations for direct-billed employer clients, the full-time Remote Billing Lead Specialist will manage cash applications, account reconciliations, and billing inquiries while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate invoicing and prompt resolution of client issues.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounts receivable activities, including cash application and payment matching
• Investigate billing discrepancies, support collections, and escalate complex issues as necessary
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Client Success teams to address billing inquiries and ensure accuracy

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or revenue cycle management
• Experience in a subscription, SaaS, or healthcare billing environment
• Knowledge of cash application and AR aging processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional partners
• Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance efficiency in billing processes
