Job Summary
A healthcare industry consulting firm has a current position open for a Remote Billing Representative.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Coordinating monthly billing with controls in place to ensure all billing is completed
- Maintaining working knowledge of all software applications related to billing
- Responding to telephone debtors and insurance carriers
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2 years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment
- Sufficient Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress
- Basic knowledge of business office terminology
- Good interpersonal skills that include the ability to effectively communicate in both writing and verbally.
- Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
