Remote Billing Scheduling Associate

Job Summary

To support a neurology practice, the full-time Remote Billing Scheduling Associate will obtain insurance information, counsel patients on financial assistance, and manage patient scheduling and registration tasks without direct patient contact.

Key responsibilities

• Obtains insurance information and provides financial assistance counseling to patients over the phone
• Schedules and registers patients, collects demographic and insurance information, and processes internal referrals
• Communicates with clinical staff to manage scheduling requests and provides appointment reminders to patients

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• No specific certification or professional license required
