Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Remote Billing Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing ID cards for correct payer billing
- Reviewing claims for accuracy and completeness prior to submitting to insurance carrier
- Attaching the correct contract to the claim for appropriate billing.
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Must be able to obtain any missing information in order to submit clean claims
- Must be able to prepare, review and transmit claims using billing and clearinghouse software
- Must be able to use Denial Management tools and resolve any denial promptly to ensure prompt payment
- Must be able to ensure that all data needed to pay claim has been delivered to the payer
