Job Summary
A healthcare IT company is seeking a Remote Billing Specialist I.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing, reviewing and transmitting claims using billing software
- Coordinating consistently with Billing Specialist II to investigate and resolve denied claims and return corrected claims
- Reviewing payments for accuracy and apply those payments against the pertinent account
Qualifications for this position include:
- 1+ years of experience in one or more aspects of the medical revenue cycle management
- High School diploma or general education degree
- 1+ years of customer facing customer service
- Knowledge of insurance guidelines for all applicable players
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail particularly as it relates to claim investigation
