Job Summary
A health care provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Billing Specialist II in Jamestown.
Must be able to:
- Record all action taken on the account in the notes field in the computer system
- Accurately prepare, submit and follow up on all patient claims
- Maintain the integrity of the billing file and all pertinent records
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Three years previous billing/accounts receivable experience in Healthcare facility or Physician office setting
- One year of in-depth accounts receivable analysis
- High-school Diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge in medical terminology, ICD-9/10 and CPT coding
- Operating knowledge of basic business office equipment
