Job Summary

A healthcare business and operations provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Billing Specialist in South Charleston.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing unreleased claims daily in order to resolve and release to the payer
  • Communicating edit trends to Team Lead/Manager/Director
  • Resolving claim edits based on documented processes in the electronic billing system

Qualifications Include:

  • One year of related experience required
  • Able to complete secondary claim releases daily
  • Able to review the COMP:MED001 report daily of post final bill coding changes and rebills as required
