Job Summary

A medical device manufacturing company has a current position open for a Remote Biocompatibility Subject Matter Expert Toxicologist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing testing strategies such as the biological evaluation plan
  • Leading projects and coordinating safety testing
  • Interpreting data and developing justifications to address safety

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with 15 years of relevant experience
  • MS with at least 10 years experience, or PhD with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • Lab experience includes research in GLP/GMP environment
  • Relevant technical knowledge in biocompatibility/toxicology
  • General understanding of material physical and chemical properties
  • Experience in working in global cross-functional teams and study monitoring
